About HSIHC Global Collaboration for a Healthier Future

The Health Science, Innovation & Healthcare Convention (HSIHC) is a global platform dedicated to advancing healthcare systems and practices through innovation, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Hosted in Georgetown, Guyana, the convention unites medical professionals, educators, researchers, policymakers, students, and industry leaders from across the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Objectives of the Convention

The HSIHC is designed to move beyond discussion and into tangible action, aligning with Guyana’s ongoing transformation in the health sector. The key objectives include:

  • Advancing medical education and healthcare delivery through continuing medical (CME) and continuing education (CE) accreditation programs, offering up to 12 CME and 12 CE credits for physicians and nurses respectively.

  • Hosting hands-on medical boot camps, simulation workshops, and innovation showcases to enhance skills development and practical knowledge.

  • Creating an avenue for pharmaceutical companies, equipment manufacturers, bioengineering firms, and universities to collaborate on regional capacity building.

  • Facilitating medical outreach programs that provide direct benefits to Guyanese communities. Fostering international partnerships to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, research, and workforce development.
